The Black Faculty-Staff Council (BFSC) is an affinity group of McNeese faculty and staff who work to promote diversity and inclusion within the campus community.  The council’s efforts reflects assistance towards both the employee and student communities. The group hosts programs to foster cultural awareness and mitigate implicit biases. The BFSC also provides recommendations to student and employee campus leaders for ways to improve campus inclusive excellence efforts. The council is comprised of 12 faculty/staff members and one student at-large approved by the University president.
