The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships supports McNeese's mission of delivering a life-changing educational experience by providing accessible and equitable financial assistance in accordance with state and federal regulations. We are dedicated to removing financial barriers, empowering students to pursue their educational and career goals, and providing personalized guidance on scholarships, grants, loans and work-study opportunities.

Through a commitment to integrity, service and student success, we contribute to building a diverse, inclusive and career-ready McNeese community for Southwest Louisiana and the entire nation. 

McNeese has awarded, on average, more than $66 million in financial assistance through grants, work-study programs, student loans, scholarships, waivers, and exemptions to over 97% of our student population. The average financial aid package is more than $9,000 for undergraduate students and more than $12,000 for graduate students.

Important Dates for 2027-2028 Aid Year

October 1, 2026
FAFSA for the 27-28 Aid Year becomes available 

December 15, 2026
Priority date for First-Time Freshman academic scholarship consideration

May 1, 2027
McNeese FAFSA priority date to ensure aid by Fall 2027 fee payment deadline. Deadline for 27-28 scholarships.

Anna Grace Bizzle

Ms. Anna Grace Bizzle is an Academic Advisor for the College of Nursing and Health Professions. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master's degrees in Secondary Education from Mississippi State University. Her favorite part of advising at McNeese is being a resource for students as they get used to the expectations of college and helping students pursue their degrees at such a wonderful school.
