Animal Use and Care Council

The Animal Use and Care Council reports to the provost and vice president for academic affairs and is responsible for reviewing and approving in advance experiments or procedures involving live, vertebrate animals. The council is composed of two faculty representatives from the College of Science, Engineering, and Mathematics; one faculty representative from the College of Agricultural Sciences, the College of Nursing and Health Professions, and the Faculty Senate; the executive director of the William J. Doré, Sr. School of Graduate Studies; and one community member, preferably a veterinarian.
