Responsible for serving in an advisory capacity to the president on matters related to academic programs, policies, and procedures. The Academic Advisory Council is chaired by the provost and vice president for academic affairs and enrollment management and is comprised of the deans of each academic college; the directors of the William J. Doré, Sr. School of Graduate Studies, Frazar Memorial Library, Office of Electronic Learning, and Office of Public Relations; the president of Faculty Senate; the vice president of student affairs, the associate vice president for enrollment management; the assistant vice president for academic affairs and director of the Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness; the director of special projects in the Office of Academic Affairs and Enrollment Management; the faculty athletic representative; and the chair on the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee.
