Title III Advisory Committee

The Title III Advisory Committee supports and guides the implementation of “The Cowboy Way: McNeese First-Year Experience,” a key initiative under the Strengthening Institutions Title III grant. The committee is composed of key administrators, faculty, and campus stakeholders who collaborate to ensure the initiative is effectively integrated into the institutional framework.
The committee’s charge includes:
- Facilitating coordination across departments and divisions involved in the project.
- Integrating project initiatives with related, ongoing University programs and services.
- Identifying and addressing obstacles to implementation.
- Monitoring progress and providing strategic input to ensure sustainability and long-term impact.
- Ensuring that the Title III initiative is embedded into the fabric of McNeese State University’s student success and institutional improvement strategies.
Through these efforts, the committee will play a central role in institutionalizing project initiatives and maximizing their positive impact on student success and retention.
Committee membership includes one representative from each of the following areas:
- College of Business
- Burton College of Education
- College of Engineering and Sciences
- College of Liberal Arts
- College of Nursing and Health Professions
- Division of Student Affairs
- Frazar Memorial Library
- Office of Advising
- Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness
- Student Government Association
Additional members may be added as the project evolves to ensure full representation of stakeholders and project priorities.
