General Education Course Section Summary Form

Instructors for each section of a General Education course must submit this form at the end of each semester during which the course is offered.

IRE is aware of an issue some faculty are having with submitting the webform. As a precaution, we strongly recommend that you fill out the webform and then, before you click Submit, print the webform to PDF (hit Ctrl+P for Windows or Cmd+P for Mac on your keyboard or right-click and select Print, then select Save as PDF as the printer). If you receive an error after you click Submit, email that PDF and artifacts to Sarah Howard at showard7@mcneese.edu.

You must complete all the fields below and upload a sample of student artifacts that is representative of the number enrolled in your section (no less than 10%).

Provide a brief description of the assignment(s) used to assess the general education outcome(s) noted above. Also, please upload a copy of your assignment in the file upload field below.

Provide the number of students meeting the benchmark above out of the number of students completing the assessment (e.g., 9/10 students completing the assessment met the benchmark.) Reported scores should not include those given due to non-completion or academic integrity violations.
Provide your analysis of the results above. Did your students meet the benchmark? Were there any particular strengths/weaknesses? If your students did not meet the benchmark, you MUST provide a plan for improvement.
