Your Safety Matters
McNeese is dedicated to protecting the safety of students, faculty, staff and guests. For the latest updates on emergency situations, please visit University Status & Emergency Preparedness.
To report an emergency, McNeese Police are available 24/7. Emergency calls can be made from all campus extensions by calling 9-1-1, or off campus at 337-475-5711.
Students’ McNeese email addresses are automatically entered in the First Call database, which campus resources use to alert students to on campus emergencies such as hurricane closures.
Students can use the MyMcNeese Portal to add or change cell and land line phone numbers to receive messages. The First Call system also offers a text message option.
