McNeese Announces 2021 Cowboy Court
The McNeese State University Student Government Association has created the 2021 Cowboy Court to combine both the Homecoming and Spring courts for the 2020-21 academic year. Both courts were presented during halftime ceremonies at the McNeese Cowboys vs. Lamar Cardinals football game on Saturday, March 13, in Cowboy Stadium.
Homecoming King and Queen are education senior Tristan Baggett, Sulphur, and education senior Amberly Thompson, Lake Charles, while Hasan Mir, a biological sciences senior from Lake Charles, and Amelia Landreneau, a health and human performance senior from Moss Bluff, have been selected Mr. and Miss McNeese.
Baggett is a Blue and Gold Peerleader and president of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity.
Thompson is a member of McNeese’s NAACP chapter and Campus Kappas.
Mir is a Blue and Gold Peerleader and member of the Honors College.
Landreneau is a member of the Pride of McNeese Marching Band and Kappa Lambda.

Fruge, a biological sciences major, is a member of the McNeese Honors College and the Pre-Medical Society.
Giffin, an education major, is a member of Phi Mu Sorority and Cowboy Catholics.
Hines, a history major, is a member of the women’s soccer team and the Honors College.
Latham, a biological sciences major, is president of Chi Omega Sorority and a Blue and Gold Peerleader.
Moss, a biological sciences major, is a member of Chi Omega and the American Chemical Society.
Nettles, a health and human performance major, is a Blue and Gold Peerleader and a member of Pi Kappa Alpha.
Robledo, a mechanical engineering major, is a member of the Honors College and Kappa Lambda.
