Tryfon Boukouvidis is an instructor of mass communication and the director of the University’s speech and debate team, also known as McNeese Forensics and McNeese Debate Council. Tryfon mainly teaches media writing courses. He has also taught introduction to communication strategies, intercultural communication, media history, and public speaking. Tryfon is a Ph.D. candidate at LSU and his dissertation focuses on how news values shift across degrees of economic stability.
