The McNeese Wellness program offers free exercise classes, health talks, lifestyle programs, fitness challenges, conditioning programs, wellness screenings, health fairs, wellness consultations, and more for McNeese students, faculty, and staff.
Sam is studying Kinesiology. His passion is creating a welcoming, supportive environment for people looking to enhance their fitness journey. He can help you reach your fitness goals in a fun and effective way. Stop by the MREC or schedule an appointment to chat about your goals, and he can put together a plan that works best for you! Sam also manages Rowdy Routines within the MREC.

The Wellness Program is available to speak to your department on a range of topics, including stress management, blood pressure management, healthy eating, exercise, tips for staying active at work, back health, and more. These talks can be done for 10-15 minutes during meetings.

Eliza is a graduate student passionate about nutritional sciences. She loves sharing tips on healthy eating and simple recipes that anyone can whip up. You can also catch her sharing nutrition education at the MREC. Stop by the MREC or schedule an appointment to discuss living a happy, healthy lifestyle.

The Rec is currently looking for McNeese students to teach exercise classes in the Rec. If you are certified to teach a fitness class or have teaching experience, please contact the Rec Center office.

Ms. Anna Grace Bizzle is an Academic Advisor for the College of Nursing and Health Professions. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master's degrees in Secondary Education from Mississippi State University. Her favorite part of advising at McNeese is being a resource for students as they get used to the expectations of college and helping students pursue their degrees at such a wonderful school.
