McNeese invites parents and family members of current students to experience campus life by participating in Parents and Family Weekend. Enjoy a weekend of fun and excitement, culminating with a Saturday night football game in Cowboy Stadium. The program is coordinated by Student Engagement and Leadership. Registration Package Details:

The registration package costs $45 per person and includes the following*:

1. Parents and Family Weekend T-Shirt
2. Access to the McNeese Athletics Cowboy Block Party (9/29 – 7pm)
3. Access and Food at Student Tailgate Experience (9/30 – 3pm)
4. Ticket to McNeese Football vs Nicholls (9/30 – 7pm)

* – reduced rate for children ages 12 and younger

McNeese Athletics Cowboy Block Party (Friday, September 29, 7pm)

Bring your lawn chair to experience live music, food trucks, and a kickback fun atmosphere in the Alumni Grove.

Student Tailgate Experience (Saturday, September 30, 3pm – 6pm)

Join the McNeese student body in their exclusive tailgate area on the Northeast lawn of the Legacy Center. Visit the Student Life tent for food provided for Parents and Family Weekend attendees.

Registered families can also reserve a tailgate spot in the student tailgating lot at no charge (size parameters apply)

McNeese Football vs Nicholls (Saturday, September 30, 7pm)

There is nothing like a football game in Cowboy Stadium on a Saturday night. Join the McNeese and Southwest Louisiana communities to cheer the Pokes to victory against Nicholls State.

Overnight Accommodations

Lodging will be the responsibility of attendees. We recommend the following properties that are in close proximity to the campus with reasonable rates for the weekend.
