McNEESE STATE UNIVERSITY
The Transfer Resources and Inclusive Learning Experience for Non-Traditional and Transfer Students
T.R.A.I.L. (our non-traditional and transfer student orientation) is a shortened version of orientation provided for students who may not need the rigorous two-day experience provided at Cowboy Camp sessions. To be eligible for this orientation option, a student must be:
Even though it is condensed, this orientation model still provides students with essential information necessary to prepare them for a successful career as McNeese students. Foundational information is provided, and there is an opportunity to share expanded knowledge in optional extended breakouts.
Orientation sessions last approximately 3 hours. There are morning sessions (AM) and evening sessions (PM) available. Students are required to completely attend a session to receive orientation credit.
Attending T.R.A.I.L. is one step toward fulfilling your ORIN101 credit; completing the required Vector trainings is also necessary to meet the requirement in full.
