Christal Williams

Christal Williams is an Assistant Professor of Nursing in the College of Nursing and Health Professions. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Southern University and her master’s degree in nursing education from Lamar University.

She holds a Juliet Hardtner Women in Science and Technology Endowed Professorship that has allowed her to gain new insight on creating and providing high quality online courses for her health systems management students.

Christal was an Interprofessional Clinical Education Day participant with psychology, nursing and nutrition graduate students. For the study, a student from each field developed a treatment plan for a simulated patient. The simulation gave students experience in working as a health care team to provide quality care to a patient.
