McNeese Receives Donation from Community Foundation

The Community Foundation of Southwest Louisiana recently gave $20,000 to the McNeese Foundation for the university’s Hurricane Relief Fund. The funds, administered as part of the Community Foundation’s Fast Grant Program, are designated for the Kay Doré Counseling Clinic and the McNeese Autism Program.

The Fast Grant Program was established to help nonprofits re-engage with the clients they serve after having shut down or reduced services after Hurricane Laura.

Both the Kay Doré Counseling Clinic and the McNeese Autism Program are operating remotely. The counseling clinic continues to reach patients through telehealth appointments, while the autism program is hosting children at its temporary location and visiting clients in their homes.
