McNeese Associate Professor Creates SWLA Economic Intel Podcast
Dr. Dan Groft, director of the H.C. Drew Center for Business and Economic Analysis and associate professor at McNeese State University, has created a podcast called Southwest Louisiana Economic Intel.
“The podcast gives listeners a chance to learn directly from people in industry and government about their views on where the local economy is going,” explained Groft. “We hope listeners will enjoy the information and learn more about the regional economy.”
Produced with the help of the Southwest Louisiana Economic Development Alliance, plans for the monthly podcast include talking to leaders in all areas of the regional economy to get a diversified view. Groft is hoping to interest people with the 15-minute podcast and cultivate economic enthusiasm among students and residents.
“People can listen to it on their way to work just to get a little information about the regional economy,” Groft said.
Listeners can find the Southwest Louisiana Economic Intel podcast on Spotify, Apple Podcasts or on the website www.mcneesedrewecon.org/drew-econ-report/southwest-louisiana-economic-intel-podcast/
