College of Nursing and Health Professions Receives Matching Donation for Scholarships
The McNeese College of Nursing and Health Professions has received an anonymous gift that will benefit students in all programs in the college. Matching contributions of up to $5,000 have been made for six scholarships designated for students pursuing health care careers.
The John Arthur Adams Nursing Scholarship and Graduate Nursing Educator Award are established scholarships for undergraduate and graduate nursing students, while the newly created Radiologic Sciences, Health Systems Management, Medical Laboratory Sciences and Psychology scholarships are for students majoring in these disciplines.
Anyone wishing to support these scholarships through matching donations may go online through the McNeese Foundation to the giving form and enter the scholarship name in the “Specific Area or Scholarship You Wish to Support” field.
“McNeese and the College of Nursing and Health Professions are very fortunate to have donors willing to support our students as they prepare themselves to be the health care providers of the future,” said Dr. Ann Warner, college dean.
