CANCELLED: Banners at McNeese Presents Jeff Boyer’s Big Bubble Bonanza
Following CDC guidelines restricting events involving 50 or more participants, this event has been cancelled.
As part of McNeese State University’s Banners 2020 Cultural Season, Jeff Boyer will perform his Big Bubble Bonanza on Friday, March 20, with a special school show at 10 a.m. and a public show at 7 p.m. in historic F.G. Bulber Auditorium.
World-famous Guinness Book of World Records-holding master bubble wrangler Boyer mixes comedy, music and interactive bubble magic for a show to delight the whole family.
Boyer is an internationally acclaimed pioneer of highly interactive community-based bubble performance. A variety artist with over 25 years of entertainment experience specializing in inclusion and diversity performance, he seamlessly engages audiences beyond language, cultural, age and ability barriers. Through this uniquely interactive show, the audience participates in the creation of art.
Boyer studied acting at State University of New York Watertown and the Boston Shakespeare Company before moving into performing for family audiences in 1993. He’s enjoyed being part of ensemble casts and performing one-man shows, which include elements of musical theatre, drama, comedy, science and magic performance.
Block seating can be booked for student groups to attend the free 10 a.m. show by contacting the Banners office at 337-562-4154. Registration is open to public, private and registered homeschool students.
