As a prelude to the 65th Annual McNeese Collegiate Rodeo, over 700 Pre- K through 5th grade students were treated to a wild ride during a special rodeo field trip at Burton Coliseum.

The national championship team members wowed the crowd of students – along with teachers and parents – with their skills in a number of events, including goat tying, barrel racing, team roping and saddle bronc riding.

At the rodeo, the team took home four individual and two reserve championships.
