Faculty Spotlight: Jennifer Barrow

Jennifer Barrow is an Assistant Professor of Nursing and began her career at McNeese in 2011. She holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from McNeese, a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Phoenix and is currently working on her doctorate in nursing from the LSU Health Sciences Center.

She is a recipient of a Pinnacle Excellence Award and several endowed professorships and was a nominee for the 2019 Louisiana State Nurses Association Nurse Educator of the Year award. Her projects have provided resources and promoted professional development for her students and colleagues. Jennifer has also been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals.

Jennifer is a member of various professional organizations and is a certified systematic reviewer for the Louisiana Center for the Promotion of Optimal Health Outcomes within the International Joanna Briggs Evidence Based Practice Institute.
