The Engineering and Computer Science Student Study Center has opened in Drew Hall. Two study spaces are equipped with tables with built-in outlets, white boards and seating for individual studying and group work. The larger room includes a refreshment corner for coffee and snacks.
The project to create study spaces specifically for engineering and computer science majors began in 2019 with numerous industries, individual donors and alumni of the McNeese engineering program providing the funding. A patio area of the building that houses classrooms and labs was enclosed and renovated to create the new study center.
