Due to Hurricane Laura, Student Health Services is unable to be on campus until further notice. During this time, telehealth services will be offered through Doxy.me. To make an appointment with the nurse practitioner, email firstname.lastname@example.org from your McNeese email address. Please include your name, student ID, date of birth, phone number, medication allergies, reason for being seen, and preferred pharmacy. Student Health will be checking email often and will schedule a time for your appointment.

The mission of Health Services is to provide acute medical care and to promote the development of wellness and healthy lifestyles for students in a safe, non-judgmental manner. This health care is intended to enable students to achieve and maintain sufficient physical health and wellness so that they are able to successfully fulfill their academic responsibilities and progress toward degree completion.
All currently enrolled McNeese students are eligible for treatment for no charge at the time of service. Health Services is funded by the assessed student health fee that students pay each semester. Health Services is staffed with a nurse practitioner, nursing staff and a collaborating physician for consultation.
Acute medical care is available for:
- Respiratory/throat infections
- Minor first aid
- Blood pressure checks
- Urinary tract infections
- Ear infections
- Skin infections/rashes
- Muscle strains/sprains
- HIV/STD testing
All services are confidential. No medical information can be released without your written permission.
For minors (students under age 18), parental consent is required by law in order for any medical services to be rendered.
If you cannot attend your scheduled appointment for any reason, please call ahead to cancel. Two missed appointments will result in the loss of Health Services privileges for the rest of the semester.
