McNeese State University’s Preview Day for prospective students and their families will take place from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, in the Recreation Complex. This free event is sponsored by the McNeese Admissions and Recruiting Office.

Following COVID-19 guidelines, the number of guests for the event is limited and temperature checks are required before entering the facility. Face coverings must be worn at all times and social distancing measures will be in place.

Preview Day is a campus-wide open house where participants can learn about admissions, colleges and offered majors and see why McNeese is the first choice for thousands of students each year.

Preregistration for the event is required and can be done online. McNeese personnel will also be on hand to answer any questions about academic programs, admissions, financial aid, scholarships, TOPS, student life, student services and housing.

Guests are invited to watch the football team take on the University of Incarnate Word at noon that day or the baseball team play Prairie View A&M University at 4 p.m. McNeese is offering free entry to spring athletic games but seating is limited.

Participants can receive more information and register online for the event by going to or by contacting admissions and recruiting at 337-475-5504.
