Mechanical Engineering involves the design, building, testing and modifying mechanical tools and devices such as power producing and consuming machines; engines, turbines, pumps, and compressors.

Mechanical engineers are the base of our rapidly changing society. Mechanical Engineering is the broadest and most versatile field that provides job opportunities in manufacturing, research facilities, automotive, power generation, refrigeration & air-conditioning, and oil & gas industries.

The Mechanical Engineering curriculum exposes students to the spirit of teamwork through capstone projects, professional societies, ethics, general and specific computer software and skills, co-op and internship opportunities. You will be immersed in contemporary issues and ideas through hands-on projects and close interaction with faculty.
