GradFest

Hosted by the McNeese Alumni Association in partnership with various campus offices, this is where you will be able to:

• Pick up your cap and gown (regalia)
  No need to order—your regalia has been provided by the University based on the information provided in your degree application.
• Verify the spelling of your name for your diploma and the commencement program
• Take graduation portraits in regalia with our official commencement photographer

Plus, learn about post-graduate studies or job-seeking options, register with the Alumni Association and enter to win drawings for door prizes!

Spring 2026 GradFest

Wednesday, April 15, 2026 1:00-5:30 PM

Thursday, April 16, 2026 9:00 AM-1:00 PM

You may attend either day at a time that works for you. 

Richard Student Union, Memorial Ballroom Rooms B and C
(#28 on the campus map)

If you are unable to attend GradFest, beginning the Monday after GradFest (NO EARLIER!), you may:

• Pick up your cap and gown from the McNeese Team Store (501 E Sale Rd., Lake Charles)
  Mon–Thu: 7:30 AM-5:00 PM
  Fri: 7:30-11:30 AM
  Regalia must be picked up no later than one week prior to commencement.
  
• Have your cap and gown shipped to you through a special order on the McNeese Team Store website. Following GradFest, you will receive an email with more information once the website is set up to receive shipping orders.

Graduation Portraits

You will receive an email from Candid Campus Photography with a link to pre-register for your portrait, or you can register on-site at GradFest. Plan an additional 30-45 minutes if you are taking a portrait. 

Attire Recommendations
Men: White dress shirt and tie.
Women: A dress or blouse without a collar (to avoid it sticking out of the gown).
