Students can choose from concentrations in Business Education Grades 6-12, Construction Management, or General Business Administration. Details about each concentration are below.
Add a Minor or Certificate
College of Business students can add to their degree with a minor in Entrepreneurship, a minor in Construction Management, or the Certificate in Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Business. The Entrepreneurship minor focuses on how business ideas are developed, planned, and brought to life, while the Construction Management minor gives students a closer look at the business and project-based skills connected to the construction industry. The LNG Business Certificate connects business coursework to one of Southwest Louisiana’s major industries and helps students better understand the business side of the LNG field.

General Business Administration
The General Business Administration concentration gives students a broad business foundation with flexibility across different areas of study. This option works well for students who want to build practical business knowledge while keeping their career path open.
Construction Management
The Construction Management concentration combines business coursework with topics connected to the construction industry. Students learn about project planning, construction operations, and the business decisions involved in managing construction processes.
Business Education Grades 6-12
The Business Education Grades 6-12 concentration prepares students to teach business subjects at the middle and high school levels. Students build a foundation in business while learning how to help younger students understand topics such as personal finance, markets, and workplace skills.
