Graduate research:

Program faculty are actively working on a variety of research projects that you could get involved with. Graduate students have co-authored published articles and papers, as well as presented findings with faculty at academic conferences. You may also be able to design and lead your own independent study research project with mentorship from a faculty member.

In addition to more than 100 student organizations and clubs on campus, as an MBA student, you can participate in a variety of special activities:

  • Business After Hours networking events
  • Mentorship programs with the Lake Charles business community
  • Open houses during fall and spring semesters with students, faculty and staff

Center for Business & Economic Analysis

Housed in the Burton Business Center at McNeese, the H.C. Drew Center for Business & Economic Analysis conducts economic analyses of business industries in the Lake Area and surrounding communities. As an MBA graduate student, you may be able to work in the center under the guidance of the director.

SEED Center

The Southwest Louisiana Entrepreneurial and Economic Development (SEED) Center on the McNeese campus is a regional, one-stop, economic development facility and home to the McNeese Innovation Center, Louisiana Small Business Development Center and student Business Pitch competition.
