McNeese’s Emergency Preparedness Team (EPT) continues to monitor Tropical Storm Beryl as it approaches the Texas coast. Campus is continuing to operate under normal circumstances. At this time, Southwest Louisiana is not expecting hurricane weather conditions, however any shifts in the track of the storm could lead to greater impacts for our area. We recommend that you stay abreast of current weather forecasts for the duration of this weather event.

If the weather forecast for our area becomes more severe and causes a modification to campus operations, the EPT will send an immediate notification to all faculty and staff via phone call, text message and email, and the information will be sent out to local media and posted to the McNeese website and official social media channels.
