Danielle Fruge Vail, a 2010 agricultural sciences graduate and a 2012 Master of Science graduate in environmental and chemical sciences, has been selected as the 2020 Louisiana Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers Outstanding Young Farm Woman.
The award – presented annually by the Louisiana Farm Bureau Federation – recognizes womenfor outstanding achievement and leadership development in agricultural operations.
Danielle, and her husband, Brandon, a 2007 graduate in agricultural sciences, own and manage 2,000 acres of rice and cattle south of Lake Charles.
Founded in 1922, the Federation is the state’s largest general farm organization representing more than 148,000 member families.
