New Locations for Some Offices, Classes and Services

As the spring semester begins at McNeese State University, students will find some offices and services have moved. 

Due to renovations in the Shearman Fine Art building, the faculty offices for the Department of Visual Arts are in the process of locating to the fourth floor of the Burton Business Center, the Shearman Fine Arts Annex and the Visual Arts Annex located behind Gayle Hall. Classrooms are in various locations. 

The WA and Dorothy Hanna Department of Performing Arts (HDPA) office is located in SFAA room 204. Please contact individual HDPA faculty members via email for their current office locations and hours. For those requiring additional assistance, please call 337-475-5028.  

The Write to Excellence Center has moved to the first floor Frazar Memorial Library. The hours are Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday, 9 a.m. to noon. Students can contact the center through the Navigate App, at 337-562-4205 or writetoexcellence@mcneese.edu. 

Tutoring Center, part of the Academic Computing and Learning Center, will move into the Frazar Memorial Library. The hours are Monday-Thursday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Friday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The open-access Computer Lab and the Technical Lab will remain in Kirkman Hall, 117B. The Write to Excellence Center and the Tutoring Center are part of the new Student Success Center in the Frazar Memorial Library.
