McNeese Severe Weather Closing

UPDATE JAN. 9, 2024: McNeese campus will resume normal operations on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024. All offices will re-open at 7:30 a.m. and all classes and campus services will return to normal operations.

Due to the threat of severe weather today, McNeese offices will close at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 8, 2024. Classes and labs will either move to online instruction or will be rescheduled. Students should check Moodle for information about specific classes. Rowdy’s Dining Hall will be open as scheduled, but retail dining locations may close early. Students may continue to email offices/staff and emails will be addressed when the university reopens. Students may continue to register for classes using the online registration system. The fee payment deadline will be extended until Thursday, Jan. 11, at 4:30 p.m. Overtime and compensatory leave will only be granted to employees deemed essential and who are required to report to work during the closure.
