McNeese 2021 Homecoming Court

McNeese State University students Breland Cook, a criminal justice senior from Lake Charles, and Breanna Newell, a radiologic sciences major from Opelousas, have been named as McNeese’s 2021 Homecoming King and Queen.

The royal pair and court will be presented during halftime ceremonies of the McNeese Cowboys vs. Incarnate Word Cardinals football game at noon Saturday, Oct. 23, in Cowboy Stadium.

Cook is the grandson of Michael and Rena Cook and son of the late Misty Cook. He is president of Kappa Sigma Fraternity and a Blue and Gold Peerleader.

Newell is the daughter of Carolyn Newell. She is a Blue and Gold Peerleader and a member of Chi Omega Sorority.

Caraway, daughter of William and Kelly Caraway, is a health and human performance major with a concentration in pre-occupational therapy. She is a member of Chi Omega and a McNeese cheerleader.

Castro, son of David Castro and Devon Mitchel, is a chemical engineering major. He is a member of the Pride of McNeese Marching Band.

Broussard, daughter of Richard and Deirdre Broussard, is a health and human performance major with a concentration in sports medicine. She is a member of Chi Omega and a Blue and Gold Peerleader.

Dobson, son of Tony and Alyson Dobson, is a history major with a social studies education concentration. He is a Blue and Gold Peerleader and a member of Kappa Sigma.

Blanchard, son of Preston and Monica Blanchard, is a double major in finance and accounting. He is a member of Kappa Sigma and Delta Sigma Pi professional business fraternity.

Davis, daughter of Tarius and Amanda Davis, is a criminal justice major. She is a member of Chi Omega and a Blue and Gold Peerleader.

Latham, son of Jeff and Becky Latham, is a biological sciences major with a concentration in pre-dentistry. He is a member of Kappa Sigma.

Reeves, daughter of Brooke Hebert, is a chemical engineering major. She is secretary of Phi Mu Sorority and a Blue and Gold Peerleader.

Anderson, son of Kyle and Kellye Anderson, is a health and human performance major with a concentration in sports management. He is a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity and Cowboys for Christ.

Brown, daughter of Lorenzo and Chassidy Brown, is a radiologic sciences major. She is a Blue and Gold Peerleader and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.

Constance, son of James and Bridget Snyder, is a nursing major. He is a member of Pi Kappa Alpha and vice president of the McNeese Be the Match student organization.

Ewing, daughter of Doug and Heather Ewing, is a health and human performance major with a concentration in pre-physical therapy. She is a member of Chi Omega and the Physical Medicine Society.
