Dr. and Mrs. Lehrue Stevens Jr. Donate to McNeese

On hand for the presentation are Richard H. Reid, vice president for university advancement and executive vice president for the McNeese Foundation, Dr. Lehrue Stevens and Shelly Shaw, McNeese Foundation accounts payable specialist.
Dr. and Mrs. Lehrue Stevens Jr. have completed their pledge of $75,000 to the McNeese State University Foundation for the Dr. and Mrs. Lehrue Stevens Jr. Scholarship in Medical Laboratory Science. The scholarship, designated for junior and senior students in medical laboratory science, was created in 2010 by the Pathology Laboratory in honor of Dr. Stevens’ service and leadership. He has been with the lab for over 50 years.
