NRCM Student Selected for Prestigious Internship

Hunter Lepretre, a natural resource conservation management major, will spend this summer as the first student intern for agronomy research with the LSU AgCenter at the H. Rouse Caffey Rice Research Station in Rayne.
Hunter will work with LSU AgCenter agronomist Dr. Dustin Harrell to evaluate a variety of fertilizers to determine which remain in the soils for the longest period which would potentially help rice farmers reduce fertilizing labor and costs.
