Theatre Roundup Set at McNeese

The Lake Area community is invited to meet the McNeese State University theatre program faculty, production directors and students at the annual Theatre Roundup, to be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, in Tritico Theatre.

Information will be available about the season’s upcoming productions and directors will be present to explain the auditioning process.  

The 2019-2020 season will begin with a production of Robert and Willie Reale’s musical “A Year with Frog and Toad.” Based on Arnold Lobel’s beloved children’s book series, this classic production follows two amphibious friends, optimistic Frog and loveable Toad, as they have adventures with their various friends over the course of a year.

Fall auditions will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23, in the Tritico Theatre. A sign-up sheet and audition packages are located on the bulletin board in the lobby of the theatre. Auditions are open to all McNeese students, faculty, staff and area residents.
