McNeese Spring Symphonic Band and Wind Symphony Concert Set
The McNeese State University W.A. and Dorothy Hanna Department of Performing Arts will present the McNeese Symphonic Band and Wind Symphony in a free spring concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 22, in Tritico Theatre in the Shearman Fine Arts Annex.
The concert will include a special guest performance by the Airline High School Symphonic Winds under the direction of Patrick Neff. Airline High School is located in Bossier City.
The concert will feature a wide variety of exciting music by 20th and 21st century composers. The symphonic band is conducted by Jay Sconyers and the wind symphony is conducted by Jay Jacobs, with student guest conductor, Bryan Miller.
Over 110 McNeese student musicians, in over 25 academic majors, comprise these two concert ensembles.
