McNeese hosts Amina Flore senior recital
The McNeese State University W.A. and Dorothy Hanna Department of Performing Arts will present a free senior clarinet recital by instrumental music education major Amina Flore, of Orange, Texas, at 7 p.m. Friday, April 20, in Tritico Theatre in the Shearman Fine Arts Annex.
Her program will include: “Concerto in B Flat Major” by Johann Stamitz; “Five Bagatelles by Gerald Finzi; “The Klezmer’s Hora” by Gordon Lewin; “Sonate” by Camille Saint-Saens; “Alma Mater,” arranged by William Rose; and “Eine Kleine Nachtmusik” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. She will be accompanied by Dr. Lina Morita on piano and assisted by the McNeese Clarinet Choir.
At McNeese, Flore is a member of the Wind Symphony, treasurer of Kappa Kappa Psi and the 2018-2019 woodwind captain of the Pride of McNeese Marching Band.
