LSBDC to hold “Starting and Financing” Workshop

McNeese State University will hold a workshop titled “Starting and Financing your Business Idea” from 2-4 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12, at the SEED Center.

The workshop is sponsored by the Louisiana Small Business Development Center at McNeese and is co-sponsored by Sasol and the Southwest Louisiana Economic Development Alliance.

This workshop is recommended for individuals who are interested in determining the feasibility of their business idea, planning to start or have recently started a small business, seeking a small business loan or want to learn more about business planning.

Attendees will learn about entrepreneurship readiness, writing a business plan, funding sources for start-up and expansion and small business resources. Attendees will also learn about the Sasol Small Business Resource Guide, which offers valuable information for entrepreneurs.
