Cultivate Your Future Event

 McNeese State University students, faculty and staff are invited to learn about elevating their career at the Cultivate Your Future event on Tuesday, March 19 from 6-8 p.m. in the McNeese Recreation Center.  

The event, presented by the Junior League of Lake Charles, features keynote speaker Willie Mount, former Louisiana senator and former mayor of Lake Charles. She will share her perspective on developing a successful career.  

Mount will be joined by presenters Lauren Monroe of Mimosa Boutique, Amber Frazer of The Ritz Academy and panel moderator Aryca Bussell of Suite 22. Sitting on the panel is McNeese nursing professor Sierra Higgins along with Hilary Green, Hope Buford, Elaine Accord, Erika Doshier and Jordan Smith. 

The presenters and panelists will dive into the impact volunteerism has on careers and how to maintain professionalism in and outside of the workplace.
