The Form I-20, Certificate of Eligibility, is required to apply for an F-1 student visa. The certificate includes details about you, McNeese, your education level and major, and your financial information. Please use the steps below to request your I-20.
Please note: An initial or transfer I-20 can be issued only to students who have been admitted to McNeese State University. If you have not yet applied, please visit the International Admissions page to start your application.
If you are a first-time college student, once admitted, email the following information to intinfo@mcneese.edu to receive your I-20:
Important Note: Please note that receiving the I-20 may take several weeks, since we are processing I-20s for many students at a time. If you already have a visa interview scheduled, please provide the date of your visa interview in your initial email so that we can have your I-20 ready before the interview date.
If you are transferring from another US college or university, please ask your current school to transfer your SEVIS record to McNeese.
