Providing Resources for Student Success
The Academic Computing Center (ACC) is an open-access computer lab located in Kirkman Hall, Room 117. The ACC is equipped with the technology necessary for students from across campus to use for their academic needs. Any student with a valid McNeese ID gains access to a space with plenty of room to complete homework, print assignments, check emails, and work on projects. This quiet study space and its services are free to all McNeese students.
The following resources are available in the computer lab:
- 36 High-performance desktop computers
- 2 Collaboration Stations for small groups
- 2 Printers
- 2 Document scanners
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Specialized Engineering, Mathematics, and Science software
- Open tables for working
The Academic Computing Center also provides poster printing services for faculty and students attending academic conferences. These services are provided free of charge. Posters must have a white background, and the maximum height that can be printed is 36 inches.
