Accreditation

McNeese State University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral degrees. E-Learning and Testing Services

The Office of E-Learning and Testing Services offers testing services for college entrance and placement examinations (e.g., ACCUPLACER), national credit examinations (e.g., CLEP), and college correspondence course exams. Appointments or registration are required for all exams. Additional information, including exams offered, testing dates, scheduling, and applicable fees, may be obtained at www.www.mcneese.edu/testing or by contacting the Office of E-Learning and Testing Services at 337-475-5125. The Office of E-Learning and Testing Services is also responsible for receiving and entering all entrance, placement, and credit exam scores into a student’s official record.

The Office of E-Learning and Testing Services manages the learning management system (LMS) and integrated tools, ensuring a seamless digital learning environment for students and faculty. The Office of E-Learning and Testing Services supports instructors in developing course content within the LMS and assists students in accessing and engaging with their coursework. Beyond academics, the Office of E-Learning and Testing Services provides an online campus experience by offering a centralized space for campus organizations to share materials, updates, training, and resources, fostering a connected and dynamic university community.

Ashley Bass

I am a McNeese graduate with a bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Science and a concentration in Child and Family Studies. As a student, I competed on the rodeo team and served on the SGA board. I earned my master’s degree in 2022 from the University of South Dakota in Educational Administration and Leadership with a concentration in Adult and Higher Ed. I have over 13 years of experience in adult education and 20 years of educational experience.

My favorite part of being a Freshman Advisor is helping students navigate their new life routine as a college freshman by offering support with in-person office visits or by email to help students meet their goals. I always remind students of my favorite BB King quote – “Education is one thing no one can ever take away from you.”  I believe that supporting students is vital to a student's success.

In my spare time, I raise registered American Brahman cattle, and I enjoy all the "country girl" things like hunting, fishing, growing a garden and cooking.
