Twenty business students have been initiated into the McNeese State University chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma Scholastic Business Honor Society.
The McNeese State University Banners Cultural Series has received the statewide Outstanding Arts Organization of the Year Award, presented by Lt. Gov. Jay Dardenne and the Louisiana Office of Cultural Development.
McNeese State University students Andrew Armand, a nursing senior from Lake Charles, and Sara Dupre, a mass communication senior from Grand Lake, have been selected as Mr. McNeese and Miss McNeese on the 2014 Spring Court.
Sarah Lowdon, a student employee who works in the Recreation Complex, was named the McNeese 2014 Student Employee of the Year. Lowdon and five other student employees were recognized Tuesday, April 15, during the annual program.
Six McNeese State University faculty members are recipients of the 2014 Pinnacle Excellence Awards to recognize outstanding faculty achievement in each of the McNeese colleges.
Brask Inc. recently donated $15,000 through the McNeese State University Foundation to establish the Brask Inc. Engineering Scholarship in the College of Engineering.
