Burton College of Education

McNeese's Burton College of Education is home to the Department of Education Professions and the H.C. Drew School of Kinesiology. Through a wide range of degree programs, close interaction with faculty members and internships and student teaching opportunities, we strive to instill in our students a love of lifelong learning and the skills, experience and knowledge to pursue their careers or continue their education after graduation.

Our Degree & Certificate Programs

Post-Baccalaureate Certificates (PBC)
This certification is offered in conjunction with many of our bachelor’s degree programs to allow you to graduate with both a valuable degree in the field of your choice as well as initial teacher certification. With this, you can begin your education career right after graduation.

Anna Grace Bizzle

Ms. Anna Grace Bizzle is an Academic Advisor for the College of Nursing and Health Professions. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master's degrees in Secondary Education from Mississippi State University. Her favorite part of advising at McNeese is being a resource for students as they get used to the expectations of college and helping students pursue their degrees at such a wonderful school.
