McNeese Will Not Open Until Noon Today Due to Power Outage 

Due to a campus-wide power outage with no estimated restoration time, McNeese campus will not open until noon today, Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2026. This delay will allow time for the university to assess any potential damages caused by the outage. 

All classes and campus operations are canceled until noon.  

Students and employees should continue to monitor their McNeese email, the university website, official social media channels, and local news for further updates.
