McNeese SGA President to Serve on Louisiana Board of Regents 

Sam Gil, McNeese State University Student Government Association (SGA) president, will serve a one-year term on the Louisiana Board of Regents as the student board member. 

As SGA president, Gil is a member of the Council of Student Body President’s where he was elected as the student member of the Louisiana Board of Regents. 

The Louisiana Board of Regents serves as the state’s leading force for talent development through quality, affordable postsecondary education for all. 

“I am confident he will represent the University of Louisiana System and McNeese well over the next year,” said Dr. Kedrick A. Nicholas, McNeese dean of student affairs.
