LSBDC to Host “Starting & Financing Your Business Idea” Workshop

McNeese State University will hold a workshop titled “Starting & Financing Your Business Idea: Using Sasol’s Small Business Resource Guide” from 9-11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at the SEED Center.
The workshop is sponsored by the Louisiana Small Business Development Center at McNeese and co-sponsored by Sasol and Southwest Louisiana Economic Development Alliance.
This workshop is recommended for all individuals interested in planning to start or who have recently started a small business. Attendees can receive help determining the feasibility of their business idea, seeking a small business loan or finding out more information about business planning. Topics of discussion will include entrepreneurship readiness, writing a business plan, small business resources and funding sources for start-ups and expansion. Attendees will also learn about the Sasol Small Business Resource Guide, which offers valuable information for entrepreneurs.
