Dr. John Noble Named Homecoming Parade Grand Marshal

Dr. John Noble, retired orthopedic surgeon, real estate developer and entrepreneur, will serve as the grand marshal for the 2025 McNeese State University Homecoming parade. The parade is scheduled to roll down Ryan Street on Thursday, Oct. 16, at 7 p.m.
More than 85 businesses, organizations and bands have already entered this year’s parade. This year’s theme is “Rowdy Ever After.”
Noble is a graduate of McNeese and earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He further honed his expertise through an orthopedic residency at LSU Medical Center and a fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, he is recognized for his exceptional contributions to the field of orthopedics.
With a remarkable 28-year career in private practice, Noble served patients with unwavering dedication at the Center for Orthopaedics in Lake Charles until his retirement in 2024. Today, he continues to make a significant impact in the field by providing independent evaluations and expert testimony, utilizing his extensive experience to advocate for both patients and physicians. His leadership has been a cornerstone of numerous medical organizations, including serving as past president of both the Louisiana State Medical Society and the Louisiana Orthopaedic Association. He was appointed as a member of the board of supervisors for the University of Louisiana System by Gov. Jeff Landry in January of 2024.
Beyond medicine, Noble is a visionary problem-solver in healthcare-related business ventures. He is the president and owner of Better Day Health, co-founder and chief medical officer of Quick Take Health, co-founder and president of iMedicus and managing partner of Imperial Pointe. These ventures reflect his passion for innovation and his drive to address complex challenges in healthcare.
Noble has made significant contributions to the field of athletics. For many years, he served as a team physician for McNeese, where he provided exceptional care to athletes and played a key role in advancing sports medicine within the community. Also, Noble is at the forefront of sports data management, having contributed to the development of the groundbreaking QuickTake Sports kiosk, the first of its kind.
