Call for Volunteers for Rouge et Blanc Wine Tasting Gala

Volunteers are needed for McNeese State University’s premier food and wine event, Rouge et Blanc, which is set to return to downtown Lake Charles on Saturday, Oct. 12. This year, the event will be held on the grounds of the 1911 Historic City Hall Arts and Cultural Center at 1001 Ryan St.

There are a variety of different opportunities for volunteers to participate, including event set-up on Friday, Oct. 11, and tear-down after the event. During the gala, volunteers are also needed to check tickets, sign in participants and volunteers, staff water stations and pour wine.

Proceeds generated from Rouge et Blanc help fund Banners at McNeese, which provides the Lake Area with access to exceptional arts and humanities programming and education every year, as well as a K-12 arts outreach program.
