McNeese’s Small Business Center to Help Entrepreneurs Win 2026

The Louisiana Small Business Development Center (LSBDC) at McNeese State University is inviting entrepreneurs in southwest Louisiana to a free training in January titled “Winning 2026: Strategic Planning Made Simple for Small Business Owners.”

The sessions will take place in multiple locations and online. Dates include Jan., 14, at Greater Beauregard Chamber of Commerce or online, noon to 1 p.m.; Jan. 21 at Oakdale Community Center, 10 to 11 a.m.; and Jan. 28, at Jeff Davis Chamber of Commerce or online, noon to 1 p.m.

Dean Day, senior business consultant with LSBDC at McNeese, will lead the sessions. Training topics include market analysis, brand building, financial planning, marketing, operations and resources.

“I designed this training to help entrepreneurs work on their business, not just in it. To start the new year strong, with intention, focus and a clear direction,” Day said.
