Business Majors Hear From First Choice Guests

Students in the College of Business heard from business leaders who were invited to campus this week to share their professional experience and discuss business career paths.

Manfredo Dix, Chief Economist in the Louisiana Division of Administration, helped students break down the state of Louisiana’s economy and explained how a number of economic indicators are used to measure how well the state’s economy is doing.

KPMG associates and former interns shared what it’s like to work with a firm managing Fortune 500 accounts and described the variety of opportunities accountants have in the workforce.
